OUR MEGA BLACK FRIDAY SHOPPING GUIDE (well, we're trying)
Every year we do our best to find the clubs that are selling cool gear and HOPEFULLY offering a discount/Black Friday deal. We put the call out on Twitter and a few responded. So we build this list, enjoy! We’ll keep adding as we go! Hope you have a great holiday season and consider purchasing an amazing piece of gear from a deserving club.
MPLS City
The Deal: Free Shipping when you buy 3 or more items this week ONLY. Code: SHIPME
Best Item On the Site: The two new 2020 kits are slick. You can’t go wrong with either of these kits, both run $69.00.
Best Item On the Cheap: The site features a wide variety of discounted merchandise, some as low as $10, but for our money, the cat/crow shirt is one of our favorites and comes in at $22. That’s a steal for a shirt everyone will notice.
We were also told there would be a big product drop on Black Friday, so you should definitely check it out.
Dutch Guard Supporter Group
The Deal: Black Friday deal 10% off anything in their Teespring store.
Best Item on the Site: The Dutch Guard Holiday Sweater is a spectacular piece of lower league gear. We’ve never seen anything like it, and we love it. Coming in at $40, that’s a great item for your upcoming “ugly” sweater party in December.
Best Item On the Cheap: Because it’s a TeeSpring shop, you aren’t going to drop a fortune on any items in the shop. However, for our money, you can’t go wrong with “The Nine of Goals” t-shirt, celebrating Stockade forward Michael Creswick. Only $16! Even non-Stockade fans should consider picking it up at that price.

Fort Wayne FC
The Deal: Black Friday bundles, both for adults and youth. Youth bundles will be available for the first time.
Best Item on the Site: So without the best item on the site is either of their Icarus-designed NPSL kits. Both run you $56.99, well below the average cost of a kit in the NPSL. This was one of our favorite expansion kits for 2020 and would make the perfect holiday gift for any person with a love for soccer or slick gear. Stunning work at a great price.
Best Item on the Cheap: Tempted to just re-emphasize the cheapness of their kits, but that isn’t interesting, so let’s point out the beautiful t-shirts on this site. $19.99 for the Black Torch Tee is just a great deal. It’s almost a monochromatic reflection of the kit, but on a t-shirt that won’t break the bank. Great deal.
Chattanooga FC
The Deal: Huge Black Friday clearance sale - at least 30 items will be 25% off.
Best Item on the Site: So maybe it’s a little eccentric, but having a club edition hot sauce on your site is a pretty original. With the price tag set at $11.99, this is the gift you never knew you needed. Of course, don’t skip looking over the rest of CFC’s stock, this club is a master of the merchandise game. But definitely buy the hot sauce.
Best Item on the Cheap: Without tapping into the sale items, which there are copious amounts to choose from, we’d pick the CFC Pinback Buttons at $1.99 each. If you can’t pick between the two offered, you can get one of each and save $.50. Great way to support a club, show off your lower league soccer chops, or just add to a growing collection.

Forward Madison
The Deal: If you purchase in the actual Madison shop, you’ll get a mini-scarf with purchases over $25. The club is planning on releasing new merchandise on Friday.
Best Item on the Site: Tough to pick, but we’re taking the home kit scarf option. Only $25. It’s a fan favorite and really helped spark the excitement around the club when they were announced. Can’t go wrong with a good scarf in Wisconsin. Is that too obvious? Yeah, maybe too obvious.
Best Item on the Cheap: Ok, you won’t find me recommending buying a club-branded potato, but we definitely need to point out the VARIETY of product available on this site. That includes a $14 gravy bowl with the club logo featured. Best pick off the site, especially for me, a sock guy, is the Forward Madison dress socks, featuring the logo. In a meeting, BAM, kick up your pant leg and show them who you are rooting for. And only $12.
Also sort of in love with the name of the shop, listed in the address: FLAMBOYANCE. Solid.
Boca Raton FC
The Deal: 50% off a Boca Raton homekit with the promo code BLACKFRIDAY19. That might be the best deal in this list.
Best Item on the Site: Look, if you think buying a kit for under $50 isn’t the best deal on the site, you’re a crazy person. This is the kit Ocho Cinco spread throughout the non-soccer world this year, so it’s time to drop some cash to dress like the ex-Bengal himself.
Best Item on the Cheap: Options are limited on the site, but you can drop $29 for a practice jersey, but with the 50% off deal, why not just buy the real deal for $15 more? It just makes sense.
DeKalb County United
The Deal: A Holiday Shop with prices slashed on over 15 holiday items. But there’s more, EVERYTHING on the entire site is discounted right now. So you should get on this.
Best Item on the Site: It’s not always the big items that get all the press. We love the DeKalb County United branded beer bottle opener. It’s currently $7 and a steal at that price. Too often clubs ignore selling quality items that are affordable and functional. We love that DKCU gets it!
Best Item on the Cheap: Sure there’s t-shirts, scarves, hats, etc, but where else could you buy an ornament for your Christmas tree? This is easily the best deal on the site, just under $6. And every family member will want you to explain it, giving you the chance to bore them with lower league soccer talk. Priceless.
Union Dubuque FC
The Deal: Black Friday code is BF2020UNION for 40% off everything.
Best Item on the Site: I own this item, so I can speak from experience. The Union cap, black on gray, is one of my favorite lower league items I’ve ever owned. Beautifully crafted, just obscure enough to have cross appeal, and only $15. That’s a steal. And like I said, one of my favorite items period.
Best Item on the Cheap: Part of the Union t-shirt. Only $12 regular price. Great t-shirt, soft and durable. Goes with everything and again, much like the cap, could mean you’re pro labor? Jokes on the person who asks and you harass them about soccer.
Providence City FC
The Deal: Every order will receive a FREE Rogue mini-scarf ($9 value). Rogue Winter Combo pack is discounted to $30 (Save $14). HAMR kit is discounted to $70 (Save $15). Rogue Hoodie is $30 (Save $10)
Best Item on the Site: Everyone knows that the boy from Providence City have their merch game on point. So picking the Best Item on a site covered in great options isn’t the easiest task. But here’s our choice. The Rogue Hoodie, which will be on sale for $30 on Black Friday is a winner. The logo is there, the functionality of a black hoodie is there, it’s a win all around. And won’t break your bank.
Best Item on the Cheap: Going with the Beanie. Only $20 and looks sharp while keeping your head warm. We love it.
