Kicking Back: L.A. Skyhawks - Champions, 1976

The club captured lightning in the bottle: the right place; the right front office; the right head coach; and the right mixture of players. In 1976 the sky was the limit for US soccer and an expansion club from the San Fernando Valley playing in the minor leagues was the epitome of that marvelous future waiting right around the corner.
