Partnership Announcement
At Protagonist Soccer, we are firm believers in the idea that a rising tide lifts all boats - that as we push the stories and themes of grassroot soccer others will join us as we gain notoriety and followers. While it is easy to see outlet popularity as a single-sum game, the reality is that the more quality outlets cover the beautiful game, the larger the potential audience becomes. So as sites grow, interest grows, and new fans of the game are added to the crowd. In essence, we believe that more great writing about the sport creates more interested readers about the sport. With this in mind, we are announcing a working partnership with Honeyball Soccer.
Honeyball’s stated goal “is to create conversations and promote the beautiful game at all levels.” Founded by two veteran writers, Sean Maslin and Megan Cleary, Honeyball is just getting started in creating its space in the digital soccer space. Taking lessons from previous soccer projects, this dedicated duo is working to grow their site and coverage. Protagonist Soccer will be partnering with Honeyball on future projects and collaborations to help develop its readership and impact.
