Erin Krall: Capturing the Spirit of Motagua New Orleans

As part of a larger photobook project looking at soccer culture in Central America and the Caribbean, Erin Krall spent the summer photographing the pitchside scene around Motagua New Orleans, one of her hometown amateur clubs playing in the Gulf Coast Premier League. Named for the famed Honduran club, the New Orleans squad has members from Honduras (some of whom have played for FC Motagua in Tegucigalpa and the Honduran national team), Brazil, England, the United States., and Iraq.
