The Protagonist Soccer Zine is an homage to the Zines of the 1980s and 90s - when soccer updates were printed on old Xerox machines and disseminated on the streets. While our Zine will be approximately the same size (5.5”x8.8”) it is of a much nicer quality and packed with full color illustrations, photos, and original written pieces.

The second issue is dedicated to soccer in the beauty and splendor of the Southwestern States! From the growing up in the Pueblo, to expressing artwork and passion in El Paso, and participating in cross-league competition all across Texas - we can’t cover all of the stories and clubs in New Mexico, Arizona, and Texas but we hope the quality of work stands out.

Issue Three of The Protagonist Soccer Zine is already being organized and will celebrate the soccer pedigree of St Louis, the with soccer stories from the Gateway City and surrounding communities. Who knows where this goes, but help us get it started with Pre-Order of The Protagonist Soccer Zine Issue Two!
