Who Says Print Is Dead!? Not us, after nearly a ten years of interviews, articles, and podcasts about your favorite leagues and clubs, we’re fulfilling a longtime dream of publishing a soccer zine. But we can’t do it without you!
Your Pre-Order will help us pay the print costs, give cash back to the artists and writers who donated their time and work, and put funds in the bank to help prepare for issue number two. Priced at just $8 + Shipping, 100% of the funds will be used to pay for the process - we ain’t quittin’ our day jobs folks!

The Protagonist Soccer Zine is an homage to the Zines of the 1980s and 90s - where soccer updates were printed on old Xerox machines and disseminated on the streets. While our Zine will be approximately the same size (5.5”x8.8”) it will be of a much nicer quality and packed with full color illustrations, photos, and original written pieces.
The entire first issue is dedicated to soccer in the great state of New York! From the Original Cosmos, to New York City International FC, all the way up to Buffalo - we can’t cover all of the stories and clubs in NY but we hope the quality of work stands out.
Issue Two of The Protagonist Soccer Zine is already being organized and will sing the Songs of the Southwest with soccer stories from El Paso to Albuquerque and from San Antonio to Tucson. Who knows where this goes, but help us get it started with Pre-Order of The Protagonist Soccer Zine Issue One.
